I offer a structured 6-session program based on the latest developments in sleep science, neuropsychology and emotion processing. I work individually, giving you personalized attention for your unique situation. A little more about CBT-I

CBT-I has 30-year track record and it is recommended as the first-line treatment by all major medical associations, including the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. This means that physicians are advised to prescribe a course of CBT-I before they consider medications.

Note: CBT-I does not treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)

OSA is a serious physiological condition that stresses a person’s heart and lungs. If you suspect that you have OSA, you should get tested at a sleep disorders center.

    Symptoms of OSA include:

    • Extreme sleepiness during the day
    • Loud snoring at night
    • Waking during the night with a sensation of gasping for air

    Traditional risk factors have included:

    • High blood pressure, high body mass index
    • Neck size larger than 17”
    • Male gender
    • Age: 50+

However, sleep centers are reporting more occurrence of OSA in people who don’t have these risk factors. If you have the symptoms, please consider getting tested.
