Reduced fees for services are available on a limited basis. We can discuss your situation when we meet.

Insurance

I’m not currently in any managed care networks. However, psychotherapy services are eligible for out-of-network coverage when available in your plan. I can provide you with the necessary, coded documentation so you can self-file for reimbursement. Please call your member benefits line to find out if your insurance plan covers psychotherapy services.

A note about using insurance: Filing for insurance requires the client to be diagnosed with a mental health diagnosis. This diagnosis will become part of the client’s permanent health record and in some instances, may hinder a person from being able to obtain life or disability insurance.

Payment

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. I accept cash, personal checks, and electronically through Zelle and Paypal.

Cancellation policy

Psychotherapy

Once we agree to your regular session day and time, that appointment becomes yours. Because it’s difficult to fill your time, I require 2 days advance notice of cancellation. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not notified me at least 2 days in advance, you are responsible to pay your full session fee. I do offer allowances to accommodate emergencies.

Note that psychotherapy works best with your consistent engagement!
